The battery is complete with the IQ System Controller, which connects the home to the grid, the IQ Battery and your solar system.
It provides microgrid interconnect device (MID) functionality by automatically detecting and seamlessly transitioning the home energy system from grid power to backup power in the event of a grid failure. It consolidates interconnection equipment and communication gateway into a single enclosure and streamlines grid independent capabilities of PV and storage installations by providing a consistent, pre-wired solution for residential applications.
Enphase Enlighten Monitoring App
Monitoring your home energy system is super convenient through the now famous Enphase app which allows you to control your system and see how much power you produce and consume. The beauty is that you can now easily work out when the best time is to use and redirect your stored power, switch between charging the battery and using stored power or even set a timer on appliances to maximise your savings. Some of us find playing with the Enphase app more fun than playing video games!
