Q.Save- the battery
Qcells have teamed up with Samsung to offer the Samsung SDI Storage Solution.
This lithium-ion battery comes with a storage capacity of 6.86kWh and is scalable up to a maximum of 3 units totalling 20.5kWh.
Q.Volt – the inverter
The Q.Volt is a high-performance 5kW inverter with an instantaneous backup feature with 0.1 second changeover time making it function much like a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) system.
To get the full 5kW back power you will need 2 batteries installed. If you only have the one battery, you’ll still have about 3.3kW of backup power in the event of a power outage.
Warranty
Blowing the industry standard out by 5 years, Qcells are offering a 15 year warranty on their Q.Home Core system.
Monitoring App
No Complete Home Energy Solution system would be complete without a monitoring app. The Q.OMMAND comes with features such as, Real-Time Energy Flow that will give you updates on your systems performance every 3 seconds and reporting options every month, every day or even every hour if you’re that way inclined…you know… control freak inclined I mean.
Virtual Power Plant (VPP)
Qcells really take the “Complete” from their Complete Home Energy Solution seriously. Along with the launch of the Q.Home Core system this year, they have introduced their very own Virtual Power Plant VPP – Arcstream.
