Customers have the right to submit a complaint if they wish to express discontent about a service or product they have received from Sydney Air & Solar or about Sydney Air & Solar’s processes, systems or team members. In order to ensure that complaints are dealt with in a timely manner, we have implemented a complaints process.  

Complaints to Sydney Air & Solar can be made by:

Sydney Air & Solar will handle complaints received as follows:  

  1. Complaint is received by the complainant to Sydney Air & Solar. 
  2. Details of the complaint will be recorded and tagged in Simpro. 
  3. Every effort will be made to resolve the complaint immediately, but where this is not possible, the customer will be advised that Sydney Air & Solar will be in touch within 1 business day. 
  4. Sydney Air & Solar will contact the customer within 1 business day of complaint made and will enquire into the complaint. 
  5. Where necessary, the complaint will be discussed with all parties involved in the grievance in order to find a solution agreeable to all parties.
  6. Customer will be advised within 7 business days at the latest with proposed actions to address the complaint. 
  7. From time to time, more time may be required to investigate the complaint and formulate a solution. In this case, customer will be advised and Sydney Air & Solar will not exceed 45 business days before formulating and communicating a solution for the complaint to the customer. 
  8. here Sydney Air & Solar have determined that they are not responsible for the complaint, they will advise and assist the customer in resolving the complaint so that this complaint can reach a satisfactory agreement.  
  9. All details of the investigation and communications with customer and other involved parties are to be recorded and logged into customer file in Simpro. 
  10. All complaints to be presented and discussed at weekly senior management meetings to further improve Sydney Air & Solar policy and procedures. 
  11. Where required following complaint and complaint handling, Sydney Air & Solar policy and procedure to be updated, staff to be retrained and processes put in place to prevent re occurrence of complaint. 
  12. Where required following complaint, Sydney Air & Solar products and services to be reassessed and possibly withdrawn if deemed necessary to avoid future complaints and ensure future customer satisfaction. 
  13. Sydney Air & Solar to confirm outcome of complaint investigation with customer and log and record into Simpro. 
  14. If a satisfactory agreement cannot be reached, Sydney Air & Solar will refer customer to:

Terms And Conditions For All New Energy Tech Sales And Installations

All New Energy Tech Sales and Installations are subject to Sydney Air & Solar’s New Energy Tech Sale and Installation Agreement.  

Solar offers listed on this website are subject to: 

  • all terms and conditions as stated above; and any advertised terms on the offer itself 
  • if the purchase of a product is required to receive the advertised offer, full payment must be made before the offer can be received. For example: buy one get one free 
  • offer is available to new purchases only and not in conjunction with any other offers 
  • offer is not transferable or redeemable for cash or credit 
  • pictures on offers are for illustrative purposes only and may be subject to change to equivalent or similar specifications due to discontinued or superseded products. In the unlikely event of this occurring, customers can choose to cancel the offer and receive a full refund on any monies paid 
  • offers may be varied, updated or terminated at any time by removing it from the applicable page from our website www.sydneyairsolar.com.au or any other advertised platform. Customers whom have already accepted the offer prior to the date of any variations, updates or terminations will not be affected 
  • offers are based on installations in the Sydney Metro Area 
  • offers assume that the customer will assign STCs to us for which the customer will receive the point of sale discount stated 
  • prices generated on offers use specific STC zones based on localised IP addresses or default to Zone 3 as defined by the Clean Energy Regulator 
  • offers are based on single story properties only 
  • offers assume that the customer has an existing single phase power supply to the property 
  • offers over 6.6kw carry the possibility that the utility provider may require your solar system export to be limited, which means you will have a maximum amount of power that you will be permitted to export back to the power grid. If this is the case you the customer have the following options: 
  • cancel your purchase and receive a full refund 
  • downsize your system to the export limited size 

 Definitions: 

  • Assumptions and Disclaimers any information relating to assumptions, savings and other statements about us that we have noted in the offer and the terms and conditions 
  • STCs mean small scale technology certificates as defined by Renewable Energy Electricity Act 2000, as amended or replaced periodically. STC Incentives/Discounts means any incentive, discount, benefit- financial or otherwise, payment, subsidy, rebate, refund or otherwise relating to the purchase of goods equivalent or similar to our products 
  • Sydney Metro Area means SYDNEY 2000 
  • Offer means any offer, promotion, special, gift, discount, incentive that we decide to offer our customers on various advertising platforms 
  • Terms and Conditions means all the information contained within this document 
  • These offer terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales and the federation of Australia. Both Sydney Air & Solar and you the customer submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the State of New South Wales, Australia 
  • If any clause or part of a clause of these offer terms is illegal, unenforceable or invalid, that clause or part is to be treated as removed from the Agreement, but the rest of these offer terms is not affected 
  • Pay-Back Period refers to the time it will take for customers to recover the total outlay of the solar system purchased 
  • Grid Provider or Utility refers to the organisation responsible for supplying and distributing power to your area 
  • Feed in Tariff – means the dollar value credited to you by your energy retailer for unused power generated from your system
